Name: Cassandra Letalis
Requested Faction: Pro-Human Faction (Application to be filled)
Requested Position: Pro-Human Leader
Why you think your character would be good for this position:Cassandra is a natural born leader; fierce and dedicated to her cause. With an innate talent for public speaking, she is able to rouse crowds, inspire unity, and light the fires of rebellion with her words. Previously having held control in one form or another over a large part of the globe also gives her experience, and insight into what it takes to start or stop a takeover, and her disastrous downfall from that position has only made her more driven to tip the balance. She is a genius with a mind for planning, aided by her Gifts which allow her brain to process information far faster than normal, and she is willing to do whatever necessary to accomplish the task at hand. For years she worked in secret planning a war against those who oppressed the Gifted, so she is already used to working beneath the eyes of the enemy and is no stranger to what it requires. She also chooses to decorate her body with tattoos of religious symbols and scriptures, making her a sort of symbolic opposition to Rayven the Damned.
Post Sample: Cassandra awoke with a start. She lay on her cluttered couch, books beneath her legs and head, and a file open on her chest. She’d fallen asleep reading, but not in the peaceful way one might drift off while reading a book. No, she’d been up at four a.m., furiously reading through countless textbooks and files, trying to gather as much knowledge as she could. For years, she had prepared for war against her fellow Human. For years, she had gathered intelligence, carefully drafted plans, scrupulously monitored the world around her, and waited. She had waited, and worked, and bided her time until the moment arose when she could finally rise and overthrow the oppressive force of the Humans who spat on their Gifted brethren. She had waited so long for just the right time.
Now was not that time.
She sat up, placing her feet on the floor, and bowed her head. Her entire body hurt from too long nights and improper rest. At her sides her hands trembled against the couch. Exhaustion? Or a symptom of going too long without her serum? She swore beneath her breath and shoved a rough hand through her hair.
For years she had studied the enemy only to learn, almost too late, that she was studying the wrong one. Her knowledge of that fact had come by chance; right place, right time as it were. She’d heard the whispers; Rayven was planning a battle, a hostile takeover. Now, she’d heard of Rayven before this. One didn’t work as Cassandra did, and not catch wind of the powerful forces within the city, especially those with such a reputation of hatred. Cassie was fighting to free herself and other Gifted of oppression, only to find they might be facing a fate of large scale enslavement instead.
If it was war the Demoness wanted, it was war she’d get.

Name: Blake Ixias Alluria
Requested Faction:Pro-Human Faction
Requested Position:Pro-Human Leader
Why you think your character would be good for this position: Blake is a leader by heart, devoted to his cause and bears the will and conviction to see it through. With the talent for public speaking, he knows what will inspire and ignite the flames in other's souls. Blake is a page-turning tactician and a former General of an Empire. The same Empire he brought glory to, he gave them destruction. Such experiences have given him the skills and know-how to command an army with a mind for strategy. He is an impressive strategist and with his awesome powers, he can do what he must do to complete his task at hand. Discreetly, for years, he has been training humans and human sympathizers with the brutal training his kin have undertaken for thousands of years. He knows how to operate out of all eyes and knows what that demands from him. One might say his very existence is an opposition to Rayven.
Post Sample: The morning had begun with the roar of the waterfall. Blake, sweating from his silver crown all the way down to his lower back. Opposite him, a hollow figure donned in silver armor from head to toe. Gripping his blade two-handed, the knight charged for the first attack. He had been at his sword fighting since Breathing deeply, Blake placed his feet apart and loosely grasped his enchanted blade, Retribution with both hands. With a hair’s breadth, the two vanished, locked in a duel of blades. again and again.
Once again, his whole body writhed with the arrows and slings of aches and pains. Training three days and three nights with meager respites in between. Plunging his blade into the wet earth, Blake sat and crossed his legs, shaking the hair out of his face. Resting on his knees, his hands trembled from the rush of his fighting.
It had been some months now, attaining intel on the enemy, working out strategy plans and seeking out the world. Keeping himself sharp was but a trained thing. He did that whenever he could. To keep himself, and his army straight as an arrow as they made ready for the moment as he and all who would fight alongside him were waiting for. But about seeing the world, wording it as such might be overcompensating.
Perhaps Blake might say that he was wondering how the Blood Soldiers were at home. True, they were oppressing humans. Yet, Blake wanted to know the ugly how. How did they treat humans? How did they treat other species? How did they fight, and their armies operate? And perhaps why does Rayven desire to create such a chaotic world where humans are put in their place? Such questions would have to be answered right at that moment. The final moment when the tyrannic force of the Blood Soldiers would rise. And the war of the world would finally begin.
Rayven sought a war, and Blake would gladly deliver such a war.
